Condolences For
"M. Alice Hufton"

  1. I will never forget what Auntie Alice and Uncle Arthur did for our family when we immigrated from England to the United States in 1963. They opened their home to our family of five, so that we could have a place to stay while my parents got settled and employed here. It was an incredibly gracious and generous act, and I will always be grateful to them and Stephen, Ruth and Helen for allowing our family of five to crash their place for all those months.
I remember times at the farm, learning to like bratwurst sausages (Auntie Alice introduced me to them), cutting the kernels off innumerable cooked corn cobs for freezing.
Auntie Alice was always kind and gracious to me, always welcoming, always demonstrating the love of Jesus.
