Merl “Lurch” Leon Miller Jr., 72, died peacefully at home April 2, 2019. A native of Oakland, CA and longtime resident of Theodore, AL, he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Virginia “Kitty” Miller; sons, Allen, Aaron and Andy Miller; daughter, Angela Robertson; a sister, Susie Gundy; three brothers, Jimmie Miller, Bobby Miller and Wayne Miller; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other relatives and close friends. Lurch was a veteran of the Air Force. He loved to ride his Gold Wing motorcycle and travel and was an avid hunter. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 8, 2019 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

A chapel service will be held at 12pm on Monday, 04/08/ 2019 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
