Mihai "Mike" Borlovan, age 82, native of Romania and long time resident of Mobile, Alabama received his reward and went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
Mihai was a devoted Christian, husband and father. He was a hard working entrepreneur who provided for his beloved wife and 13 children as a business owner of a plant nursery and retail clothing stores. In his leisurely time, he enjoyed fishing and gardening. His daily walk with the Lord Jesus Christ has made a lasting impression on everyone that knew him. We are comforted by the assurance of knowing we will be reunited with him very soon.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Doina Borlovan, parents, Iosif and Iuliana Borlovan, and 6 brothers. Left to cherish his memory are his 13 children: son Dorel Borlovan (Kathy), daughter Mariana Reavis (Daniel), daughter Daniela Bray (Matthew), son Mihai Borlovan Jr. (Amanda), daughter Doina Taylor (Curtis), son Ioan Borlovan (Kimberly), son Corneliu Borlovan, daughter Monica Black (Robert), daughter Irina Baumgartner (Jonathan), daughter Lavinia Cogdill (Michael), son Samuel Borlovan (Sharon), son William Borlovan (Gabrielle), son Joshua Borlovan (Hannah); 40 grandchildren; his sister Iuliana Cuzman (Nick); and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00am until service time at 12:00pm. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
