Burial Location: Garden of the Last Supper

Raymond E. Grider, born to Chris and Martha Grider on January 12, 1928, went to his Heavenly home on Monday, April 8, 2013.
He was preceded in death by parents and two brothers, Emile and Paul Grider.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Teeny Grider; three daughters, Teresa (Steven) Stafford, Connie (John) Corrales and Maureen Downey; one son, Randy (Sandy) Grider; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; 4 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law; many dear friends and adopted children.
Raymond was in the dairy business for many years, before retiring from Barbers Dairy in 1994. He enjoyed hunting, softball and coaching a woman’s team for several years.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 10 AM. Active pallbearers will be Donnie Grider, Greg and Dana James, Steve Lumpkin, James Craig and Jim Stukenborg. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons, Jacob Head, Connor Downey, Raymond T. Grider and Nathan Cooper, III. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

  • Teeny and family; I cannot tell you the sadness I have in my heart after hearing of Raymond’s passing. I have so many fun memories with your family. I wish I could have been there for the service. My thoughts are with each of you during this time of sadness.
