Jesus in the Temple

In accord with Jewish law, Jesus accompanied his parents on their yearly Passover pilgrimage to the Temple.  At the age of 12, he stayed behind to question the religious authority. The son of God returned to admonish the money changers, “…you shall not make my Father’s house a house of trade.” [John2:16] but rather, “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” [Matthew 21:35]
